What happens to the remaining pages
Pages you keep are copied into a new document without being re-encoded, so quality, selectable text, and searchability are all preserved exactly. The remaining pages renumber automatically — delete page 3 of a ten-page document and you get a nine-page file, not one with a gap. You cannot delete everything
The tool blocks any selection that would remove every page, because an empty PDF is not a useful output and is more likely to be a mistake than an intention.
