Delete pages from a PDF online

Processed in your browser — never uploaded

Blank scans, duplicate cover sheets, or irrelevant sections are easy to strip out before sharing a PDF. Upload your file, see the total page count, list the page numbers you want removed, and download a cleaned-up PDF — entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server.

Pick pages by looking, not by counting

Deleting the wrong page is easy when you are working from numbers alone, because scanned bundles often include cover sheets, blank backs, and separator pages that push the content out of step with what you expect. This tool renders every page as a thumbnail so you click the actual page you want gone and see a red marker confirming the selection. That visual confirmation is the entire point: it turns a guess into a check.

What happens to the remaining pages

Pages you keep are copied into a new document without being re-encoded, so quality, selectable text, and searchability are all preserved exactly. The remaining pages renumber automatically — delete page 3 of a ten-page document and you get a nine-page file, not one with a gap. If your document had page numbers printed on the pages themselves, those printed numbers will now be out of sequence; the add page numbers tool can restamp them.

You cannot delete everything

The tool blocks any selection that would remove every page, because an empty PDF is not a useful output and is more likely to be a mistake than an intention. If you genuinely want nothing from a document, you do not need a tool. It also checks that every page you marked actually exists before it starts, so a stale selection cannot produce a corrupted file.

Frequently asked questions

Can I delete multiple pages at once?
Yes, enter a comma-separated list like "2, 4, 7" to remove several pages in one pass.
Can I delete every page?
No, at least one page must remain — the tool blocks that with a clear error rather than producing an empty file.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No, page removal happens locally in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Can I delete pages from a password-protected PDF?
You'll need to unlock a password-protected PDF first — this tool doesn't handle encrypted files.
Can I undo a deletion?
Not within the tool — but your original file is never modified. The tool produces a new document, so your source PDF is always still intact on your device.
Does deleting pages reduce file size?
Yes, usually in proportion to what you removed, since the deleted pages' content is not carried into the new file.
