This tool pulls one continuous range of pages out of a document — pages 3 to 7, for example — and gives you those pages as a new PDF. That covers the most common need: lifting a single form, certificate, or chapter out of a longer bundle. If you need several separate ranges, run the tool once per range; each run works from your original file, so extracting pages 1 to 5 does not prevent you from then extracting 10 to 12.
Nothing is re-encoded, so quality is untouched
The extracted pages are copied directly from the source document rather than re-rendered, which means text stays selectable and searchable, images keep their original quality, and the result is genuinely identical to those pages in the original. This also makes splitting a good first step before compressing: if you only need three pages of a forty-page scan, extracting them first is far more effective than compressing all forty.
Check the page count before you choose a range
After you upload, the tool shows how many pages your document actually contains, which is worth glancing at. PDFs frequently have a cover page, a blank separator, or a scanned back-of-page that shifts the numbering away from what you would expect from the printed page numbers.
